Brian E. Miller, 66, of Sugarcreek, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, following a sudden illness.
He was born in Dover on November 27, 1959, to the late Wade E. and Alta C. (Slabach) Miller and married Lori McDonald on April 27, 2002. She survives.
Brian graduated from Garaway High School in 1978 and was a member of Mercy Hill Church in Berlin. He worked with his dad for many years with Wade Miller trucking and then continued the company on his own for 25 additional years, was co-owner of Charm General Store with his mom for many years and was currently employed at Keim Company in Charm. He was in charge of the Baltic Softball League for many years and was an avid fan of both the Cleveland Indians and Browns.
In addition to his wife, Lori, he is survived by his daughter, Marsha (Jeremy) Herron of Dover; grandchildren, Billy, Brooke, and Brandi Herron of Dover; sister, Karen (Jerry) Miller of Sugarcreek; brother, Conrad (Denise) Miller of Millersburg; nieces and nephews, Darren (Nikki) Miller, Rachelle (DJ) Furbay, Shannon (Kyle) Troyer, Jessica (Casey) McGrady, Tyler (Abbi) Miller and Sierra (Steven) Mullet; great nieces and nephews, Reece, Emma, Rowan, Jackson, and John; sister-in-law, Holly Lehigh and her son, Christopher and his son Cayson, and his best buddy Bandit.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife’s parents Vernon and Marla McDonald and his brother-in-law John McDonald.
A celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 11 AM at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church with Pastor Erik Miller officiating. Private burial will be in the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery prior to the services. Friends may call on Thursday 4-7 PM at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting the any donations be directed to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
