Briar Layne Saylor was born silent on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Hospital in Canton. He is the deeply treasured son of Brandon and Faith (LeMay) Saylor of Fresno.
In addition to his parents, Briar is survived by his grandparents Tim and Dawn LeMay of Baltic and Scott and Yvonne Saylor of Wadsworth; and great grandparents Joe and Gwen Guisinger of Baltic, Gary and Melanie Scheetz of Fresno, Timothy Paul and Grace LeMay, Sr. of Carrollton, Sue and Lenny Saylor of Shreve, and Barb Blumenthal of LaGrange, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his great grandfather Bob Blumenthal, great aunt Renee North, and cousin Paisley Lou Kinney.
Private Services will be held at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Chad Stutzman officiating. Burial will be West Lawn Cemetery in Baltic.
