Tuscarawas County Bridal Expo is making a return after a multi-year hiatus.

A local florist shop previously put the event on, but it’s now changed hands says Kent State Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center General Manager David Mitchell.

“Once the pandemic happened and everything shut down it went away for a little bit, and we thought it was time to bring it back and we’re excited to take it on ourselves. This is kind of what we do, put on events, and we’re looking forward to bringing it back.”

The Expo brings many vendors together in one location, allowing those planning a wedding or other event the chance to gather ideas.

“Not every DJ does things the same way, not every venue has the same aesthetic, so it’s just a chance to kind of get information from lots of different places in one convenient location on one day. We reached out to every vendor that’s been here in the past and we’re working on getting more vendors signed up. We’re still looking for more. Best place to go is the Facebook page, which is Tuscarawas County Bridal Expo.”

Bridal couples will be able to enter at no cost, all others will be charged $5.

“Just get ideas for whatever kind of event you have coming up and it really is just about supporting local mostly small businesses and helping provide a place for them to get their information out to the public.”

The Saturday, January 25th event, from 1 to 4pm, will be at the PAC.
