Bruce A. Hambleton, 66, of Dover passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on November 5, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Carl Hambleton and Betty Berry Shutt. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, William “Wild Willy” and Richard Hambleton.

He was a graduate of Dover High School. Bruce honorably served in the United States Army. He was self-employed and the vice president of All American Home Health in Dover. He was a member and did a lot of traveling with Task Force Omega in Kentucky.

Bruce married Kay Holcomb on June 23, 1990. In addition to Kay, he is survived by his children; Donald Hambleton of Bowerston, Janie (Rich) Wagner Lomax of New Philadelphia, Annette (Guy) Carbenia of South Carolina, Dennise Holcomb of Canton, Chad (Brianna) Holcomb of Canton; 15 grandchildren, a special grandson and granddaughter, Cory George and Madison Wagner; 13 great-grandchildren; along with his siblings, Sharlee Bowersock of Dover, John (Carrie) Hambleton of Wainwright, Bryan Hambleton of New Philadelphia.

In honoring Bruce’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted with the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. A graveside service will take place at Dover Burial Park on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bob Lomax officiating. The New Philadelphia VFW conducting military honors.
