Mary Alice Reporting – One more public viewing opportunity is available to view a Buckeye Career Center built house before auction day.
The student-built structure is at 2037 Brookside Drive, New Philadelphia, and the public can view the home on May 7th, from 1pm to 3pm, before the public auction on May 9th, at 6pm.
Construction on the home started August 2021 and concluded April 2023. The custom-built ranch hosts three bedrooms and two bathroom. Other features include custom-built cabinets, brick and tile fireplace, walk-in closet, and covered porches.
Buckeye students in Construction Technology, Energy Operations, Masonry, Landscaping, HVAC-R, and Electrical Systems Technology had a role in the build, which provides real-world experience and training for the students.
