Byron (Bernie) H. Frazier, 75, of Newcomerstown, Ohio (grew up in Vienna, WV) passed away June 23, 2024, from Lymphoma at Cleveland Timken Mercy Hospital, Canton, Ohio. He was born June 6, 1949, in Dover, Ohio to the late Leslie G. and Helen (Cope) Frazier.
Bernie was retired from the Labor’s Union in West Virginia and from the Laborers Local 134, Newcomerstown, Ohio. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Bernie leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Joy (Salmon), Newcomerstown, Ohio. His three children: daughter Luann Frazier and her son Thomas Kinnaird, Jr.; son Chris (Callie) Frazier and children Kenna, Lander, and Lynden Frazier; and daughter Amber Frazier and her children Ashaundrea Burgess and Jaxton Conrad. His sisters Rebecca (Ken) Bailey, Williamstown, WV and his twin Brenda (Tom) Morton, Vienna, WV. Nieces and Nephews: Todd Metz, Tammy Haines, Tracy Schrader, Matthew Lazor, Amber Hart and her children Dylan and Allyn Hart; and his little dog, CoCo.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Carol Metz Schlagel and nephews Terry and Timothy Metz, brother-in-law, Tommie Ray Salmon and sister-in-law Cathy Herron.
