The Dover Public Library’s annual celebration of reading returns this weekend.
The 5th annual canal town book festival is going on from 10 am to 3 pm this Saturday, but this time at the Dover high school auxiliary gymnasium.
Library director Jim Gill says they’ll have close to 60 authors there, from multiple genres, who will be selling and signing books.
Adult department manager Mallory Thompson says the event will also have a series of discussions for aspiring authors, with five different panels for people to learn more about writing and publishing.
There will be other kid’s activities, such as face painting and a scavenger hunt, food trucks, and raffle prizes all part of the free canal town book festival Saturday.
