A 48-year-old was placed into handcuffs following two separate crashes.

It started on Sunday, shortly before 4am, according to the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office reports.

They received a call from a Bolivar Bellstore employee about an individual striking multiple items in the parking lot before leaving.

After that, he struck a tree at a second Bolivar location.

Upon deputies arresting Carlos McDonald, of Canton, it was discovered that he had arrest warrants in Medina County for assault and strangulation.

Locally, he was cited for OVI, driving while suspended, furnishing false information, failure to control, and fleeing the scene of an accident. He remains in the Tuscarawas County jail.
