Carol Worrell, 81, of Baltic, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born on October 8, 1940, in Bucks Twp., Tuscarawas County to the late Vearl and Esther (Goedel) Brink and married Raymond Worrell on July 21, 1958.

A lifelong resident of Baltic, she volunteered at Baltic Elementary and later worked at the Baltic State Bank. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in the Baltic, and in her retirement years, enjoyed traveling with a close group of friends.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Jody Pilon) Worrell of Grand Haven, MI, Timothy Worrell of Ridley Park, PA, and Wanda (Brent) Villard of Decatur, TX; 5 grandchildren, Helen (Dara Plank) Worrell, Rachel Worrell, Frank (Tatiana Wegrzyn) Worrell, Adam Villard, and Luke Villard; and siblings, JoAnn Miller of Dover, John “Butch” Brink of Fresno, and Marlene Renner of Baltic.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by two brothers Jim Brink and Charles Brink.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
