A Saturday traffic stop results in a search that discovered suspected drugs and other items.
Uhrichsville Police Officer Elizabeth Cottrell, according to a release, conducted the stop at around 11pm on Trenton Avenue.
An equipment violation was observed, and another officer and a deputy also responded.
A search of the vehicle and the two female occupants resulted in the discovery of $8,000 cash, a loaded pistol, and 32 grams of suspected methamphetamine, which will be sent to BCI for further testing.
