Cheryl L. McBride – August 31, 2022

Cheryl L. McBride, 64, of Uhrichsville passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, following a two-year battle with lung cancer.

She was born on August 20, 1958, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was a daughter of Carol Stewart Zellhart of Uhrichsville and the late Paul Zellhart.

Cheryl proudly served her country with the United States Navy. She was employed at Harcatus Head Start as the Technology Systems Coordinator, having been employed for 26 years until illness forced her retirement. Cheryl was a member of the Uhrichsville Eagles and enjoyed riding motorcycles. She loved being with her family and taking care of animals, especially her dogs.

Cheryl is survived by her sons, Michael McBride of Dover, Ryder Dynes of North Carolina; brothers, David Zellhart of Uhrichsville, Scott Zellhart of Dennison; sister, Deborah Kauffman of Dennison, and her grandson, Declan.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A service celebrating Cheryl’s life will be held at a later date.
