Mary Alice Reporting – Effective June 1st, a new person will take over as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital.
John Baker brings a quarter of a century of nursing experience and he will oversee the nursing practice at the local medical facility.
John currently serves as Vice President of Nursing and Operations for Cleveland Clinic Akron General Lodi Hospital, where he oversees clinical and operational management for nursing services, ancillary clinical areas, and support services.
Baker holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain College in Addison, Illinois. He also holds a Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. He has served in the U.S. Army. He is also Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NEA-BC).
A search for a Vice President of Nursing and Operations for Cleveland Clinic Akron General Lodi Hospital will begin.
