Christina B.(Jones) Dietrich, 71, of Farmerstown, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia following a short period of declining health.
She was born May 1, 1951, in Dover to the late Robert F. and Myra J. (Alleshouse) Jones, Sr., and married Randy Dietrich. He survives
She attended the Dundee Church of God and had worked at Case Farms in Winesburg and several are nursing homes.
Christina had provided transportation for the Amish Community before her health no longer permitted her.
In addition to her husband, Randy, she is survived by her goddaughter and godson, Peggy and Terry Turnbull of Tuscarawas; sisters, Corrina J. (George) Biddlestone and Catherina L. (Keith) Frey both of Dundee; brothers, Robert F. (Peggy) Jones, Jr. of Dundee and William H. Jones of Texas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; great-nieces, nephews and cousins; and her aunt, Patty Jones.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Donald Blunt, she was preceded in death by her brother Jay Jones.
In keeping with Christina’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 6 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Duane Wilbur officiating. The private burial of her ashes will be in Dundee Cemetery.
