Christine D. Shaffer, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Riverside Manor Nursing Home in Newcomerstown Ohio. She was born January 24, 1958, in Coshocton Ohio to Robert and Betty Cutshall. She worked as a waitress at Tow Path in Coshocton, she loved country music, singing, loved to draw, mostly cats and dogs, and riding 4 wheelers with her special friends Rex and Nina Holmes. Spending time with her family and grandkids was one of the things that was important to her.
She is survived by her sisters Connie (Mark)Ide from Zanesville, Patty (Terry) Graff from Millersburg.
Also, her former husband Dennis W. Phillips of Coshocton and their children Dennis E. Phillips of Zanesville, Dustin (Elizabeth) Phillips of Newcomerstown, Steven (Latisa) Phillips of Coshocton. She’s also survived by her 12 grandchildren Makayla, Nevaeh, Jaiden, Kaysein, Coen, Christian, Kayden, Daylin, Gracelynn, Parker, Elias, and Madeline. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Betty Cutshall.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 6 pm at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Steve Young officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior from 4 to 6 pm on Friday.
