Christopher “Chris” Benjamin Belloni, 41, of Brewster, Ohio, passed away on May 31st, 2022. Chris was born on August 12, 1980, in Dover, Ohio. He is survived by his devoted wife April (Casto) Belloni, with whom he spent 21 beautiful years; his daughters, Carleigh Belloni of the home, and Carissa (Casey) Curlutu of Brewster; and his father Marion “Buzz” (Cynthia Dutton) Belloni. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Brent & Cathy Casto; sister-in-law, Melanie (Kurt) Scheibe; aunts Patti (Tom) Strickling and Linda (Chet) Young; uncle Walter Studer, Jr.; a niece, a nephew, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Pamela (Studer) Belloni, his brother Benjamin Christopher Belloni, and his grandparents Dominic V. & Evelyn Belloni, and Walter, Sr. & Evelyn Studer.
Anyone who knew Chris genuinely liked him, and he will be sorely missed by his family, many friends, and his fellow employees at Belloni Foods. Chris was the fourth generation employed at the family grocery store where he served as the President of Operations and worked together daily with his best friend, his father. He was a graduate of Fairless High School, earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, and his Master of Business Administration from Walsh University. Chris truly loved to learn new things, master new skills in life, and use those skills to help others.
Chris was very devoted to his family and community. He enjoyed the simple things life has to offer: Chris loved spending downtime with family and friends, cooking, building Legos with his daughter, and just about anything computer-related. He was active in the Fairless community, where he was on the Fairless Alumni Association board and helped with the Sons of The American Legion during many community events.
Following a private burial, a celebration of Chris’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made in Chris’s memory to “The Fairless Alumni Association” (320 S. Wabash Ave. Brewster, Ohio 44613) or to “The vEDS Collaborative” for further research into Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. (“The vEDS Collaborative” can be found online @ <https://depts.washington.edu/vedscoll> or mail to: UW Medicine Advancement, Box 358045, Seattle, WA 98195-804 noting “vEDS Collaborative Research Study” in the memo.)
