Cindy Beachy, 61, of Sugarcreek, went peacefully to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Aultman Hospital in Canton surrounded by her loving family. Following a 5-month battle with cancer.
She was born in Dover on November 14, 1961, to the late Alvin E. and Minerva (Mullet) Troyer and married Merle Beachy on October 6, 1983. He survives.
She worked as a STNA at Walnut Hills Nursing home in Walnut Creek up until her illness. She was a member of Grace Church in Sugarcreek and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Merle; children, Michael (Hannah) Beachy of Sugarcreek, Michelle (Joe) Mast of Strasburg, Eric (Jules) Beachy of Wilmot, and Krista (John) Schrock of Sugarcreek; 9 children, Benji, Madison, Parker, Jaxton, Lakelyn, Cole, Cade, Ariella, and Waylon and was waiting the arrival of two additional grandchildren; siblings, Miriam Yoder, Willis (Cindy) Troyer, Mark (Rosa) Troyer, Darrel (Patty) Troyer and Arlen (Karen) Troyer; and brother-in-law Levi Mast.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Irene Mast, and brother-in-law Eli N. Yoder.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Grace Church in Berlin with Pastor Chad Stutzman officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Church Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday form 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Grace Church in Berlin. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
