The City of Uhrichsville approves a budget of over $2 million.

Auditor Jeryl McGaffick requested the action at Thursday evening’s council meeting.

“And I ask that you pass it retroactive to January 1st so that when the State Auditor audits, they know I had these prepared for January 1st. We’ve not paid any bills other than payroll so far.”

Finance Committee Chair Polly Clark says the city will consider Water Park upgrades in 2025 and moving forward with the 3rd Street bridge project.

“The major goals for the city would be demolition of unsafe structures, looking at selling the city garage and relocating it, sale of the west side yard, city park improvements.”

The auditor says the appropriations are a good guess for the year’s expenditures, excluding any unexpected situations.
