Clara E. Gerber, 70 of Sugarcreek, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, at Country Club Retirement Campus in Dover.
She was born in Dover on November 13, 1951, to the late Earl A. and Sarah (Yoder) Mullet and married Jeffrey Gerber on December 18, 2015. He died on January 28, 2019.
She is retired from Andreas Furniture in Sugarcreek, where she worked in housekeeping.
She loved watching the birds, going to the beach, and especially spending time with family.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Jenkins, and her two grandchildren, Emily Sinnett and Camron Sinnett all of Sugarcreek; siblings, Owen (Lonja) Mullet of Fresno, Esther (Mervin) Eash of Utica, Earl Mullet, Jr. of Fresno, Miriam Mullet of Millersburg, Marion (Tena) Mullet of Sugarcreek, and Sam (Gail) Mullet of Fresno; and sister-in-law, Sarah Ann Mullet of Bristol, Florida.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Dan Mullet and Freeman Mullet.
Services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Barb DeBord officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 10-12 at the funeral home prior to her service.
