Clara “JoAnn” (Winkler) Heaston, 89, of Dover, Died on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Park Village in Dover.
She was born in Mineral City on Easter Sunday, April 16, 1933, to the late Earl and Jessie (Goudy) Heaston.
JoAnn attended elementary school at Dog Run and Mt. Tabor schools and graduated from New Philadelphia High School with the class of 1950.
She is survived by her three children; Julie (Tom) Kline of New Philadelphia, Jay Winkler of New Philadelphia, and Janie (Charles) Dockus of Canton; three grandchildren, Kelly Cappel of Dover, Casey Kline of Philadelphia, PA, and Clarissa Gregg of Colorado; and one great-grandson, Jeremy Cappel of Dover.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Winkler; brother, Ray; and two sisters, Mary and Ethel.
Private services and burial for the family will be in Holmes Church Cemetery.
