The Dover High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is excited to announce the Induction Class of 2026.
The ceremony will be held as a ticketed event at Dover High School on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
The class includes 5 individuals, 1 Legend, 1 Lifetime Contributor and 1 Team spanning a time period of 1957 to 2024.
The Inductee in the Legends category is Tom Armstrong Jr. (1957); the Team inductee is the 1999 Undefeated Football Team; the Lifetime Contributor Award inductee is Jim Gordon (1979); and the five Individual inductees are Rob Becker (2000), Jim McFadden (2000), Seth Gintz (2000), Anna Comella (2004), and Dan Ifft (1995-2024).
The 2026 Dover High School Homecoming Weekend Festivities include: the Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday, October 1 (7:00 PM), followed by the varsity Homecoming Football game against Wooster at Crater Stadium on Friday, October 2 (7:00 PM) along with the after-game celebration hosted by Shenanigans and concluding with the Dover High School Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 3 (8:00 PM).
Tickets for the Hall of Fame banquet will be available for purchase in the DHS Athletic Office beginning September 1, 2026.
