At the most recent Claymont Board of Education meeting several recognitions were made.
Among the commendations, announced by Superintendent Brian Rentsch, was the Moomaw Foundation regarding a $500 donation to Project Lead the Way.
The Superintendent also noted a couple of other awards.
“Susan Moticelli she was named Middle School Counselor of the Year. We want to extended appreciation to [police] Captain Brandon McCray. He came in and did a three-day peace officers training.”
Additionally, Claymont High and Elementary schools received a PBIS Bronze award. This recognition relates to a district improving student well-being and building a positive school culture.
