Two local school districts had seats up on the November general election with Claymont to have two new members and New Philadelphia three.
For Claymont City Schools, Martha Campbell took an early lead and then once more precincts reported, Solomon Peters took the lead over the other three candidates.
In New Philadelphia, the results were much closer with the top three Board of Education candidates getting the majority of votes being Kelly Ricklic, Amanda Fontana, and Jennifer Schrock.
Election night results are not finalized as the Tuscarawas County board of Election must certify the results before it goes to the state level.
