Claymont City School District invites community members to a Tuesday evening event that will inform about anti-bullying programs and activities.
Superintendent Brian Rentsch says attendees will learn about what Claymont buildings are doing to educate students on standing up for kindness, respect, and inclusion.
They’ll also hear from guest speakers, Clint and Melissa Haney, on social media awareness and the Grant Kindness Campaign, named after their son, Grant Haney, who died in July 2024.
No Bullying 2 “Melissa and Clint are strong advocates for suicide prevention and anti-bullying and we would like to see as many family come and hear their story. We need families to help step up when we have situations arise and we’re here to help at the school as well.”
The event is Tuesday, at 6pm, in the Claymont Middle School auditorium.
