Colleen Hobbs, 55, of Bowerston, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 28, 2024, of an apparent heart condition. Born November 1, 1968, in Livonia, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Patrick James and Constance Lucille (Bobbert) McTaggart.
A resident of the Bowerston area for the past 35 years, Colleen had devoted her life to her family as a loving mother and homemaker. She also loved horses and horseback riding, and in her spare time, enjoyed reading and watching movies – especially scary ones.
Colleen will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Chris Tucker; grandchildren, Rylea and Reagan Tucker; sister, Kathy McTaggart; nephew, Joshua; niece, Sarah; uncles and aunts, Larry and Lois Bobbert, Dana and Susan Bobbert, and Randy and Michelle Bobbert; and a number of cousins.

According to Colleen’s wishes, cremation is planned, and her family will celebrate her life privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
