Mary Alice Reporting – Twice weekly the Board of Tuscarawas County Commissioners will convene in 2023.

The dates and time were approved by the board, consisting of President Chris Abbuhl and newly appointed members Kristin Zemis and Greg Ress.

The meetings will remain in the William E. Winters Board Room, located in the county building at 125 E. High Avenue in New Philadelphia, and they will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the year, as the resolution, with a notable time change, was read by clerk Rhonda Jordan.

“Monday meetings will commence at 2 pm and Wednesday meetings will commence at 9 am. When any Monday or Wednesday is a legal holiday, the regular session will be held on the next regularly scheduled meeting day.”

Items that need to be reviewed by the board during a meeting must be submitted to the County Commissioners Clerk by noon the day prior.

This Wednesday’s meeting, January 11th, will be at 1 pm. On January 16th, the board will not meet due to the holiday but will convene on January 18th at the new start time.
