Mary Alice Reporting – Republican Party looking to fill open council president seat.
Next week is the deadline to get applications in for applicants in the city of Dover who would like to serve as the city council president.
The position opened after Shane Gunnoe was announced as interim mayor of the city.
The Tuscarawas County Republican Party has opened an application period for residents within the city corporation limit and who is a registered voter with the party.
Resumes can be sent via email to hq@tuscrepublicanparty.com or by mailing them to the party’s Central Committee to P.O. Box 542.
The deadline is Thursday, May 26th.
The Central Committee will meet on June 2nd, at 6pm, at their headquarters, to fill the vacancy.
