Connie K. Kaser, age 80, of Sugarcreek passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, OH.
Born February 8, 1942, in New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Gertrude Geib. Connie graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1960. She married Dennis Kaser on February 24, 1963. Connie worked for Alsco in Sugarcreek. She was employed by the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek as a Custodian. She then was employed by Dutch Valley Restaurant in Sugarcreek as a waitress.
She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek. While a member she was involved in the Children’s Puppet Ministry, the Women’s Guild, Kid’s Time and she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. She looked forward to family vacations, birthday parties, and the holidays.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Kaser, three sons Jeffrey (Robin) Kaser, Douglas (Teresa Westfall) Kaser, and Kevin (Marie) Kaser all of Sugarcreek, seven grandchildren, Michaela (Zach) Berger, Morgan (Layne) Harding, Megan Kaser, Alex Kaser, and Ethan, Garrett, and Kaylyn Kaser. She was expecting her first great-grandchild (Baby Harding) in May. She also is survived by three sisters, Elsie Dummermuth, Glenda (Larry) Green, Margaret Stein, and one brother, Glenn (Patricia) Geib.
Besides her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Don Farnsworth, a nephew Donnie Farnsworth, a brother-in-law, Homer Dummermuth, a sister-in-law Joanne Kaser, and a brother-in-law, Larry Stein.
A funeral service for Connie will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m..
