Connie Lynn (Alkire) Hadley, age 72, of Huntington, West Virginia passed away on October 26, 2026. She was born on August 23, 1954, in Galion, Ohio, to the late Fay and LaFaun Alkire.
Connie will be remembered for her love of the Lord, her family, and the joy she found in African Elephants. She is survived by her children, Daniel Melvin of Marion, Ohio, Synnette (Eric) Wong of Dennison, Ohio, and Amy Melvin of Huntington, West Virginia. Her grandchildren, Searah Melvin (Carlo) of Milan, Ohio, Austin (Karlee) Allshouse of Dennison, Ohio, Bailey Allshouse (Zayne) of Carrollton, Ohio, Kaydence Chumley of Lubbock, Texas, Kyra Chumley (Quinton)of Huntington, West Virginia, Kirstlyn Chumley of Huntington, West Virginia and Hunter Melvin of Marion, Ohio.
In addition to two great-grandchildren, she is survived by brothers, sisters, and friends.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandson, Quinton Scott, and several siblings.
A small private service will be held Thursday, October 29, 2026, for her children and grandchildren. A memorial service will follow later for Family and friends. Date is to be determined.
