Gwen Rummell Reporting –
The Conotton Valley Union Local School District recently received news that the school district and Athletics Director Jonathon Stuck are recipients of an award.
The district received the Ohio Interscholastic Association of Athletic Administrators and Stuck received the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s Bruce Brown Award of Excellence.
Superintendent John Zucal says the awards are a testament to the efforts put into the needs of student-athletes at Conotton Valley.
“I believe it speaks volumes about the hard work that Mr. Stuck has put in and, for us, it is another huge honor in the state of Ohio. For all of us involved, it can be something that we can look on very favorable about what we’re doing to help our young people to soar.”
The Bruce Brown Award is determined on nine criteria and has only been awarded to 27 high schools in the state.
Stuck will be honored at the OIAAA Conference in Columbus on Monday, November 13th at the Awards Luncheon.
