Nick McWilliams reporting – A Thursday-morning crash in Coshocton County led to two transports for injury.

The incident occurred around 6:36 a.m. on State Route 83 at the intersection of County Road 476 in Tuscarawas Township.

It was determined that 30-year-old William Harrison from Coshocton went left-of-center while failing to negotiate a curve, striking a vehicle head-on driven by 30-year-old Courtney Pepper, also of Coshocton.

Following the crash, Pepper was taken to Coshocton Genesis Hospital due to her injuries. Harrison was ultimately taken by MedFlight to Akron-General Hospital, with unknown injuries.

Updates on both of their conditions were not available at this time, and the crash remains under investigation.

Coshocton County EMS, the Coshocton Fire Department, and the Three Rivers Fire Department all assisted on scene.
