Mary Alice Reporting – A new pass at a local library is giving residents the chance to experience area history.

Dover Public Library Assistant Chris Metzger says the program is a way for patrons to visit area museums and places of interest.

The culture pass gets the whole family in at no charge to participating museums in Tuscarawas and other county sites.

“It’s not just our county. We do have a few out of our county. They’re pretty cool places to see and included with that pass we do have a little tickets that tells us about other things you can do in the area to get you out and about in our community. They can check the pass out for a week.”

Some restrictions may apply but library staff will discuss the individual passes at check out, and details are written out. Passes are available for online reservation but a paper pass is required so patrons must stop at the Dover Library, located on Walnut Street, to pick that up.

Anyone with questions can call 330-343-6123 or go to www.doverlibrary.org.
