Cynthia L. Pongratz, 58, of New Philadelphia, passed away March 22, 2023. Born in Dover on July 13, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Barbara J. (Robin) McAfee.
Cynthia was a graduate of Claymont High School and raised four children whom she adored. She was also a devoted grandmother and lover of nature. She enjoyed fishing, kayaking and camping.
Her family includes her children, Melissa (Sonny) Bethel and her children, Phantasia and Alexis, Jennifer Pongratz and her children, Jasmine, Jaylen, Mannie, and McKenna, Shawn (Aleesha) Pongratz and his children, Rone, Brielle, Carter, and Kamrii, and Terria Gray and her children, Albani, Raydon, and Xander; and her dog, Kizzi.
Cremation is being cared for by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory and inurnment will be held at a later date in Ridgecrest Memory Garden at Dover
