Cynthia Lynn Pangrazio, 76, of Dennison, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 27, 2023. Born February 17, 1947, in Massillon, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Longworth) Hershey.
After her 1965 graduation from Perry High School, she was crowned the First Queen of the Pro-Football Hall of Fame Festival in 1965. Cindy enjoyed working in the catering and hospitality industry – often for events at the Dennison Knights of Columbus Hall, as well as for her family’s restaurant, The Dennison Yard. She loved gardening, interior decorating, antiquing, and had also been an ardent supporter of the athletic teams at Tuscarawas Central Catholic and East Canton High Schools – having volunteered to launder their uniforms for many years. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, routinely besting everyone at Jeopardy and laughing with them while watching “King of Queens”.
Cindy was a devoted mother to her two sons, Nino (Traci) Pangrazio and Dino (Angela) Pangrazio, and a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren, Olivia, Nadia, Isaac, and Anthony Pangrazio. She is also survived by her sister, Susan (Dan) McFarland, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Hershey; companion, Vincent Wilson; and former spouse, Joseph L. Pangrazio, Jr.
In keeping with Cindy’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. Her family will celebrate her life privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd. N.E., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
