Cynthia Sue Smith, age 76, of Tuscarawas, O., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at her residence.
Born March 31, 1948, in Dennison, O., Sue is the daughter of the late Glenn and Anna Belle (Trushell) Smith.
In 1969, Sue graduated from Indian Valley North High School. She was a nurse’s aid at Schoenbrunn Nursing Home until she retired in 2014. Sue enjoyed gardening, traveling, crocheting and spending time with family.
She was a former member of 4 Square Church in Dennison.
Sue is survived by her siblings Linda (Dave) Norman of Newcomerstown, Glenn “Bubba” (Bonnie) Smith of Uhrichsville; Rose Smith of Tuscarawas and Christina Smith of Pennsylvania; an uncle Ralph Trushell and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will conduct services at a later date and this will be updated when plans are finalized.
