Daniel Vay Judy, 87, of Dover passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Park Village Southside in New Philadelphia.
Born in Dover on October 20, 1934, he was the son of the late Carl and Marie (Arbogast) Judy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five brothers; Dave, John, George, Paul, and Byron Judy.
Daniel was a graduate of Dover High School with the class of 1952. He honorably served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was the co-founder of Hillcrest Garden Center of Dover and later retired as the Superintendent of Dover Water/ Dover Waste Water Department.
He leaves behind his wife, Evelyn (Bitticker) Judy, whom he married on September 19, 1954, along with his son, Mark, and his wife, Marsha Judy of Dover.
In honoring Daniel’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted with the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory of Dover. There will be no services or calling hours.
