Darrell L. Denbow, 65, of Dover died Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover following a period of declining health.

Darrell retired in 2019 from the Gradall Company in New Philadelphia following 26 years of service.

Born Oct. 12, 1956 in Wheeling, W. Va., he was the son of Ellen Palmer of Dover and the late Lee Denbow.

Darrell was a 1974 graduate of Springboro High School in Springboro, Ohio. He was an avid reader and enjoyed NFL football and race car racing.

He will be sadly missed by his family including his wife of 44 years, Jackie (Longo) Denbow. They were married on May 20, 1978; a son, Jason Denbow of Columbus; daughter, Niki (Matt) O’Donnell of Stow and granddaughter, Riley; two sisters, Debbie (Bill) Kleindienst and Dena (Mike) Short both of Dover, and a brother, Douglas Denbow of Dover.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Aug. 16 from 5-7 pm at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. The family prefers casual attire. Darrell’s nephew, Pastor Chris Reed will officiate a private graveside service in the Sandy Valley Cemetery in Waynesburg, Ohio.
