Mary Alice Reporting – Dover firefighters were called to a Thursday morning blaze on State Route 800 NE. The 6:30am call indicated that a back deck was on fire.
According to officials, the homeowners had a small fire pit on the back deck, which they utilized the previous night, and at some point, a rekindle occurred, causing the pit and the deck to catch fire.
Damage was isolated to the deck. No injuries were reported.
