In Loving Memory of Denise Marie Lehman. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denise Marie Lehman, a beloved wife, mother, and cherished grandmother. She went peacefully to be with the Lord on December 22nd, 2023.
Denise, daughter of the late Mildred (Couts) and Harry Gipe, was born May 14th, 1964. She was a member of the Newcomerstown High School class of 1982. Denise’s unwavering love and boundless kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother. Her face would light up with pure happiness in the company of her grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be forever etched in their hearts.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Bryant Lehman, her children, Courtney (Saben) Strahler, Codey (Chanelle) Hunt, and Lydia (Hadden) Dubel. Her adoring grandchildren, Annalise, Grayson, Peyton, Millie and Maddox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Grandma Dot, her Aunt Pam and Aunt Bev, and her lifelong friend, Beth Norman. Denise will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.
A celebration of Denise’s life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 5 to 7 pm at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Denise’s honor. One of her favorite pastimes growing up was spending time with her beloved Grandma Dot and now they are reunited. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may the memories of her love and warmth continue to bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
