The roadways that will get a refresh have been announced for the Village of Dennison.
A main road and alleys are on the paving list, with a focus being in the downtown section.
Mayor Greg DiDanato says they will use some of the highway fund and street money, which will cover the portion of N 2nd Street, from Sumner to High Street.
The other main priority is the downtown revitalization.
“They have until June 1st to get started and must be completed by end of September, and that will be storm sewers, some sidewalks, brick inlays, that will include all new signage throughout the downtown, [and] that’s the timetable for that. 2nd Street is tentatively that they’re scheduling to do that in May.”
Basic maintenance of crack sealing will also occur throughout the village.
