Gwen Rummell Reporting –
The Dennison Railroad Depot Museum Systems will host its 9th annual Jammin’ Food Truck Fest in a new location on Center Street in front of the Depot.
The event will take place Saturday, September 2nd, and last from 11 am to 7 pm.
During the recent Uhrichsville Council Meeting, Committee Volunteer Rita McPeak spoke about the history of the Jammin’ Food Truck Fest.
“It’s been going on six or seven years, but it’s been up in Schoenbrunn. This year, it’s actually moving to the Dennison Depot so it’s going to happen along Center Street then up toward the gazebo. It’s the same event, new location.”
The festival will include 12 food trucks, several non-food vendors, kids’ activities, and live music. Musician Saxy Rob will be on from 11 am to 1 pm, Tequila Mary from 2 pm to 4 pm, and Randy Velez from 5 pm to 7 pm. Hitchcock Sound will provide DJ services between each musician.
The event is free with the opportunity to purchase a $3 wristband and receive $1 off each beverage and admission into the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum. A $10 sampler card will be available, which yields 4 samples from participating food trucks.
A complete list of food trucks and vendors will be released on the Jammin’ Food Truck Fest Facebook page.
