Dolly Delores Gump – July 6, 2022

Dolly Delores Gump, 90, of Kimbolton, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Riverside Manor. She was born April 4, 1932 in Big Run, WV to the late Hugh Columbus and Mary Jane (Cross) Byard. On January 22, 1949, she married Simon C. Gump, who passed away on August 15, 2021.

Dolly enjoyed quilting, sewing, and bowling at Cy Young Lanes. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Dolly is survived by her children, Peggy Jane (Chuck) May of New Philadelphia, Raymond Allen (Teresa) Gump of Kimbolton, Steven James (April) Gump of Kimbolton, Wendy Ann (Doug) Brown of Kimbolton; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Dolly was preceded in death by her son, David Earl Gump; and by 11 brothers and sisters.

Services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 2 pm at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Pastor Mike Crank officiating. Burial will follow at Irish Ridge Cemetery in Kimbolton. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 12 to 2 pm.
