Donald “Don” Earl McCune Jr. – December 15, 2022

Donald “Don” Earl McCune Jr., 72, of Newcomerstown, passed away on December 15, 2022, in Warrensville Heights, OH. Don was born October 2, 1950 to Donald McCune Sr. and Shirley (Peters) Seevers.

He graduated from Port Washington High School in the class of 1968. He was a long-time employee of Empire Plastics of Newcomerstown and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Washington. On September 26, 1981, he married Sharna (Smith) McCune. He loved exercising, riding his motorcycle, and spending time in the great outdoors.

Don is survived by his wife, Sharna; his children, Donald E. McCune III, Dan McCune, David McCune, Dennis McCune; his brother, Shawn (Vicki) McCune; sister-in-law, Cassandra McCune; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brothers, Pat and Mike McCune.

A Celebration of Life service for Don McCune will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at the American Legion in Newcomerstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
