Donald E. Jones III of Newcomerstown, Ohio, passed away on April 25, 2023. Donald was best known by family and friends that dearly loved him and will always love him, as an earnest-seeker of our Higher Power through a strong Mystical Qabalah Faith. This belief is a link to the broad elements of Jewish traditional thought with both Eastern and Western philosophy and later Christian insights. Donald’s fact-finding determination for historical truths created an infectious enthusiasm for the people around him, taking a person’s doubt and igniting perspectives back into a deeper spirituality for consideration. His deep dedication and mediative study led him to a high scholarly academic level of standing. Donald was a man that wanted to share his reliance of emotional strength and power, enjoying the deep explanation of this faith.
Donald was predeceased by his father Donald Jones II, grandmother, Roberta Cruxton, uncles Shane Layland and Ray Jones. He is survived by his mother, Shelia Tolliver, family friend and contributor Dale, two sisters, Heather Jones and Destiny Williams, aunts, Mike Tina (Cruxton) Maria and Donis Kelly (Cruxton) Mitchell, grandfather Arthur Cruxton and wife Pat Cruxton, nephews, Ariez, Landen, Cyrys, and Mykah, nieces Dravyn, Layla, Madilynn, and Marlee, and cousin Briana (Bartell) Bowers.
A graveside service for Donald will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, at West Lawn Cemetery in Newcomerstown.
