Donald Lee Danley, Sr., 88 of Fresno, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at his home.
Donald was born November 24, 1937 in Newcomerstown, Ohio son to the late John William Danley and Mary Juanita (Patterson) Danley.
Donald worked for several years at Penn-Michigan in West Lafayette and later at Alchrome in Newcomerstown. In his free time, Donald loved to go fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a huge fan of wrestling and enjoyed watching old western shows. He loves spending time with his family at the Coshocton County fair, especially the truck and tractor pulls. He had an adventurous personality. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles and helping his son set up at the flea market and giving great customer discounts. He loved his wife’s homemade cooking, especially all the sweet treats. Nancy also liked bringing him baked goods on Sundays. Most of all, Donald was a kind and caring husband and father. There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family.
On November 16, 1963, Donald married his loving wife, Nancy Lee (Larrison) Danley, who survives. He also is survived by his children, Donald Lee Danley, Jr. (fiancé Ines Rodriguez), Serena Jean Conrad, Karen Sue Loibl, Nancy Marlene Rodabaugh (fiancé Jeff Bush), Brandon Lee Danley (Kayleigh Menninger); 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; his siblings, William L. Danley of Caledonia, MI, Cheryl L. Arter of Louisville, KY, and Dick (Chris) Danley of Senecaville, OH.
Along with his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his siblings, Marsha Stone, Gary Danley and Dennis Danley.
A visitation will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 11 to 1 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1 pm on Monday with Dan Eggan officiating. Donald will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Fresno.
