Donald W. Ogle, 95, of Dover passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover following a period of declining health.
Born June 19, 1929, in Bedford Township, Coshocton County, Ohio Donald was the son of the late Roy and Nana Huff Ogle. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Donald started his career at Robinson Clay in Parral, and then worked for Belden Brick for the next 23 years until illness forced his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed refinishing furniture, playing cards, and tending to his garden.
Donald is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Leindecker Ogle, whom he married on November 27, 1956; sister, Marilyn Johnson of Columbus and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 19th starting at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Matthew Wald officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
