Dorothy “Dotti” Schrock, 92, of Sugarcreek passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Walnut Hills Assisted Living following a period of declining health.
Born in Alexis, Illinois on April 6, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Loska H. Totten and Kathryn Louise (Foster) Robertson. She was a graduate of Galesburg High School and married Wayne W. Schrock, who survives, on December 21, 1953.
Dorothy served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War conflict and was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Sugarcreek.
In addition to her husband Wayne, she is survived by her children Jeffrey (Bonnie) Schrock, Todd Schrock, Michael Schrock, Guy (Marsha) Schrock, Steven (Mary Ann) Schrock, and Kelly Schrock; grandchildren Jason, Jerrod, and Brent Schrock, Kathryn Pringle, Emily Reneker, and Chelsea Schoppelrey; great grandchildren Kaleb and Keira Schrock, Jensen and Camryn Schrock, Christian and Colton Pringle, Laynee, Bennett, and Livianna Reneker, Lily Schrock, and Harper Schoppelrey.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Richard L. Totten, and Don A. Totten; and daughter-in-law Anna Marie Schrock.
Services for Dorothy will be held at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Gehman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11-12 (One hour prior to the service.) on Saturday. A private burial service with military honors conducted by the Sugarcreek Homer Weiss American Legion Post #494 will be held at a later date.
