Tuscarawas County Engineer Doug Bachman, who has been serving the position since his father, Joe Bachman’s retirement, has filed petitions to run again.
Bachman, who received his engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and completed his coursework for surveying licensure at the University of Akron, is a graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School.
After his appointment, Bachman has been working to obtain federal and state funding for county projects.
Bachman has expressed his excitement to continue to serve the citizens of Tuscarawas County and is looking forward to meeting more people as he campaigns for the Democratic Primary in March 2024.
