Douglas D. Troyer, 67, of Beach City, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at his home following a period of declining health.
He was born in Millersburg on March 24, 1957 to the late Clarence W. and Mildred (Conkle) Troyer and married Rhonda Price on April 3, 1993. She survives.
He is retired from the Holmes County Highway Dept., where he worked as an equipment operator. Doug loved bow hunting, trapping, rabbit hunting, gardening, bee keeping, and any outdoor activity. He loved life and he lived his life to the fullest. Passing his knowledge on to his grandsons was high on his to-do list.
Doug is survived by his wife, Rhonda, two daughters, Kellie Willison of Dunedin, Florida, and Krista (Travis) Gottshall of Sugarcreek, grandsons, Nash, Griffin, and Vann Gottshall; his sister, Sandra Troyer of Wooster and his brother, Randall (Robin) Troyer of Holmes County.
He is preceded in death by his parents and twin sisters.
In keeping with Doug’s wishes, there will be no public services.
