Organizers with Dover’s third annual Parktoberfest event say tickets are still available for the upcoming fall-themed celebration.
Dover Community Parks Foundation board member Pam Dummermuth says it’s from 4 to 7 pm on Saturday, October 11th, with oktoberfest-style food, games, and music.
She says this year it has moved from Dover City Park to Hoodletown Brewing, so there will be more drink options for all ages.
It is again a fundraiser for her group as they work to improve the city park trail between Dover Pool Road and the amphitheater, which will again be the site for next month’s ‘trick-or-treat on the trail.’
Dummermuth says they need to report ticket sales by the end of this week. Parktoberfest tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Mcdonald Niklaus gifts, at the Dover parks and rec office, or from any board member.
