Tuscarawas County’s state legislators brought the Dover High School cheer team to the House and Senate chambers Wednesday in recognition of their state championship.
State Senator Al Landis introduced the team and coaches Courtney Reese and Samantha Anderson to his colleagues.
The Dover cheerleaders received the same recognition during the Wednesday session of the Ohio House where they were introduced by State Rep Jodi Salvo.
Earlier the team visited the governor’s mansion and met Gov. Mike DeWine.
